I wake up very hard in the morning. For me, it’s better not to go to bed at all than to have to get up. I just want to lie there. I need five to ten minutes lying on one side, then five minutes on the other.
But I have to get up! It weighs on me, and I haven’t even lain on the other side yet – it’s gone numb, and I didn’t lie on it! And I want to. So yes, it's terribly hard for me to get up.
If I haven’t had a cup of brewed coffee in the morning, the day doesn’t work out. I don’t drink instant coffee – it smells disgusting, it makes me shudder…
Yes, in the mornings I have, you could say, a little ritual: a cup of coffee and a bun with butter and cheese. No other combination works. I tried to restrict myself – a bun with cheese but no butter, butter with cheese but no bun. No, it doesn’t work. It’s just not the same. There’s no wave of pleasure. But a cup of coffee and a bun with butter and cheese – that’s when I wake up, energy flows through my body, I feel strong, like I could run somewhere.
I always know exactly what taste I want. Right now, I want a pickled cucumber, and not just any kind – I know exactly the flavor. Not lightly salted, but with no vinegar, from a barrel… And right now, for example, I want an Olivier salad or some fried chicken.
When I was younger, I really liked the taste of rotisserie chicken. They made it only at one café, and I used to travel across the whole city (at least an hour one way) just to get a piece.
When I’m next to a comfortable person, it’s like lying in a feather bed – warmth spreads through my whole body.
