Anna M. (SEI) about Food

I’m not picky with food. I eat whatever I’m given. The only thing I don’t like at all is soup—any kind of soup. I eat everything else. I’m indifferent to sweets. I like salad and chicken. If a child doesn’t like or doesn’t want something to eat, don’t force them. If they get hungry, they’ll eat on their own. You, as adults, don’t eat what you don’t want—why should children be forced to? There’s never any benefit from food, no matter how healthy, if it’s eaten through force and with aversion.
