I liked history at school; I studied it. I would learn it and retell it to my grandmother. I really liked the pictures in the history textbook. The pyramids, and other things—I loved looking at everything. I imagined how things were back then and told everyone how people lived there. I remember we went with my parents to a holiday resort; their friends were with us, and I kept talking and talking about all the pyramids. It was a bit of a shock to me when one woman said that she had never heard of the Pyramid of Cheops at all.
