Irina V. (2) (EIE) - Managing the mood and attitude of others
I can influence the moods of people around me. I try to do it in a positive way, but when I get carried away, I can ruin someone’s mood in an instant — I can yell or start making accusations. If someone behaves the wrong way toward me, like being dismissive or something like that, I’ll start a scene, tell them they’re a complete jerk — maybe then they’ll change their attitude toward me a little.
If I’m in a bad mood and someone else is in a good one, then he’s nasty, an annoyance! A guy texts me: “We’re sitting here eating barbecue, it’s great, so nice…” And I’m sitting there tired and angry. “Oh you bastard, I’m jealous of you.” And that’s it — I can find some other way to ruin his mood.
Sometimes people come to me in a bad mood — whining, crying, sniffling… I get emotional too, and then I feel it: seems like their mood is rising again.
