Ekaterina M. (EIE) - Managing the mood and attitude of others
As I feel it, the world loves me. How could you not love such a bright person who is constantly helping someone, making everyone happy...
<...> To many people I seem like a strange person, maybe even arrogant (like a giraffe that doesn’t poop just anywhere). But how amusing and incredibly pleasant it is to see how in one moment their impression changes. When you say one word, one phrase, seemingly casually, and you feel the reaction of a person who clearly didn’t like you — it’s like a response to an act of warmth.
So. A person either has warmth or doesn’t. When I don’t feel warmth from someone (literally), it means they don’t like me. But once I do something from the above-mentioned, that person’s eyes are as if pierced by electricity. They open wide, their whole body turns into an explosion, warmth comes out in waves, like shockwaves. They reach me, and it even seems like my hair stirs slightly in that gust. Inside the person everything seems to jump, and you can almost hear their inner voice rushing from side to side: “Did she really say that?! She’s not who I thought! She’s not a bad person, she’s unique! She’s interesting! She’s different!”
Usually after that comes a compliment or something like a compliment directed at me, from the overflow of conflicting feelings.
Elevated breathing stays for another couple of minutes. It’s interesting when this happens, but a little sad too.
