Sensing Logical Introtim (SLI, ISTp)
"He is good with his hands."
How to Ignite Your EGO Block
Do everything that makes you more independent, self-sufficient, and financially secure. Avoid forced uniformity and interference in your private life. Stay away from quarrelsome people and drama seekers, no matter how attractive they may seem to you. Avoid emotionally unrestrained people and those who nag over trifles or create fuss over nothing.
It is important for you to find a pursuit you love and create comfortable working conditions for yourself (for example, good lighting, fresh air, suitable humidity, and temperature). Organize your space for work and rest to suit your own needs. Settling in with maximum comfort—this is truly important.
Even though the SLI belongs to the receptive-adaptive group, they are at the extreme pole, positioned between the receptive-adaptive and the balanced-stable types. The SLI is a balanced individual who, as a rule, clearly understands what they want. They strive to achieve their set goals (a sensory strategist) and are very purposeful in their actions. Unhurriedly but confidently, persistently and stubbornly, they move toward the desired outcome.
However, captivating such a person, igniting desire within them, or awakening them to action requires considerable effort. Out of the four IP types, the SLI is the hardest to get moving, let alone to get motivated on their own.
In this case, progress can be made through the principle of "expanding the norm." Every SLI has their own norm. For some, it might be the norm to live on canned food and instant noodles, while for others, this is unacceptable. The determining factor in the longevity of their interest in a person or a pursuit is—as cliché as it may sound—a rich inner world and inexhaustible opportunities for development. Yes, a SLI might settle for a shoe repair shop, but they could also dare to aim for something greater.
